I had a dream that I lived on an island where people ran around catching faeries all the time. It was the most magical place I'd ever been. I communed with Undines at waterfalls and followed enchanted paths through lush green forests that went on as long and far as you wanted them to.
Starfish displayed themselves in patterns of random beauty just outside my back door, where the sounds of the waves lapping against the shore were only slightly overshadowed by the singing of the waterfall that ran past the side of a building named 'CHI', where I dwelled, a very grateful inhabitant.
I connected with some wonderful friends, with whom I shared many happy times. We laughed, sang, sipped wine,and even talked to Bob sometimes.
I awoke filled with gratitude for the beauty, spirit, and deeper connection to my own true nature from spending time in this magical dream land that I NEVER wanted to leave.
I would like to propose a hearty toast to Mother Orcas, may she live forever in all her enchanted glory; and may our paths cross again and again. With all my love and all my heart, to you, my kindred friend.

Meditation for New Moon
Sit in comfortable seated position with perfect straight spine; cross your hands over your chest, left on right with thumbs touching, fingers together and pointing in a 'V' to your shoulders. Now take long deep breaths of six second inhale and six second exhales. On the inhale imagine breathing in a soft golden/pink light that goes down your spine and fills you up to the top of your head and radiates out from your core. Imagine the light burning away all thoughts of negativity you have toward yourself or any troubling situations. On the exhale imagine all negativity leaving your body, mind, and spirit; pressing it into the ground to be neutralized as you pull the belly in and squeeze the breath from your body.
So, Inhale: breath in light. Exhale: eliminate negative thoughts and feelings. Do this for at least six breaths. You should feel a sense of peace, openness, and a kind of lightness that comes when you get to 'take the weight of the world' off your shoulders. Now go out there and have a better day. I know I will.

Cat On Mat
I see truth; I do not judge; I act according to the divine will of the universe.
I had this dream and my family and friends and a cat and I were staying at this place where there is a kind of ride that everyone likes to go on. In my dream it was ok and people did it all day long and no one got hurt or anything; but it LOOKED like people in a four man raft going over Snoqualami Falls. Part of the "protective gear" used in this little adventure was the wearing of basket balls on the feet; blue basket balls, not the orange ones. So I was in this nice creamy white colored clean hotel room with my cat and another person who was not part of the family/friend thing, but rather a kind of 'wise old lady' person. She neither encouraged nor discouraged me, but was non the less comforting to have there. As I was readying myself to leave...running late and having trouble getting my thin summer clothes on my newly showered and damp body, I thought to myself, 'I don't WANT to go over Snoqualami Falls in a four man raft with blue basketballs on my feet'. I headed out the door, late, and long after everyone else had gone. I looked my kitty in the eye before I left and she had a very concerned and alert look on her worried little tortie face. I bid her and the wise old lady goodbye and headed out the door and down the hall to the 'launch pad' for the ride; running with blue basketballs on my feet. Alas, I was too late and the family had already left and were on the ride. Darn!
Just before I woke up I thought to myself ' oh, I'm in so much trouble with them now', but I don't think I cared too much. I knew I had made the right choice.
Sooo.....how does that make you feel?
Snoqualami Falls
I am healthy, strong, beautiful, and focused

As I was formulating the above sankalpa, my mind drifted into the River Of Life Meditation, by Van Ault. Anyway, I floated on my pretty cloud of pink stuff, over to the big rock in the middle of my river and sat facing in the direction the river was flowing. bobbing along on the current and even floating through the air were all these colorful, beautifully wrapped packages. Packages with things like expensive wines, exotic tropical fruits, Manhattan view condos, Jane, cat toys, cats, friends, lovers, family, good health, yoga mats and chanting, Johnny Depp, warm rainy days in the Pugetopolis, all of Peru in general, and just every thing that is beautiful and good about life. I became curious and turned around only to behold, flowing infanitaly toward me, more and more of the same colorful packages. I lay back down and became the river. Then all these gifts flowed generously through me, and moved on to bless other beings along the way. I felt myself becoming, intuitive, aware, at peace...free.

A Dream
I was at this big party, and You were there, and Jane was there, and Johnny Depp, of course was there. And we were in this penthouse apartment that overlooked a beautiful lit up city at night. I can't remember why this one guy kept bumping into me and saying, "Oh, excuse me, I thought you were a tree", but it happened like seven times. Jane was a time traveler from a more enlightened race from a whole nother planet. She was dressed like a gypsy queen and telling people's fortunes, and she had this magic glowing crystal ball. There was a guy playing a harpsichord in the living room. It was eerie, and brilliant. I was really enjoying the music, and the dancing, and the Hindu Kush....and, and, and, and then Mom showed up and made everyone go home! Why does that always happen?
Then Mom and I sat down at the breakfast nook (I guess it was MY apartment, nice) and had rhubarb pie with french press coffee and talked about red wing bats as we watched the sun rise over the city. End dream.

Another Dream
There was this big spider that was a very important fixture throughout the dream. He was as big as a bowling ball, and red. He lived in this giant web that just seemed to show up everywhere my friends and I went. At one point this evil guy I used to date freaked out and started spraying him with bug spray. I screamed out, 'No! No! We don't want to hurt it!'. The spider went running off, but somehow I knew he would be ok. He ran away like a cat, and I was upset that he had been hurt. It was as if the big scary spider were my beloved pet. Dream interrupted by consciousness. Fine'.
Diagnosis: Counterphobic. I concur.
